# My projects are missing

> Find projects that do not show in the left panel - another workspace or account, a folder, the archive, a share that ended, or a stale copy in your browser.

Your projects are stored on Playcode's servers. The left panel shows the projects of one workspace in one account: a project that does not show there is in another workspace or account, in a folder or in the archive, or your browser's copy of the list is stale. Find your case below.

### You are in another workspace

The left panel lists only the current workspace's projects. Open the menu under the workspace's name at the top of the left panel. Under **All workspaces**, choose the workspace the project belongs to. Your personal workspace is called **Personal**.

### You are signed in to another account

Each way of signing in finds its own account: an emailed code finds the account of that address, and Google, GitHub or Microsoft find the account linked to them, or the account that uses the address they confirm. If you once signed in another way, or with another address, your projects may be in that other account.

1. Open the menu under the workspace's name and choose **Settings…**. The address you are signed in with shows at the top.
2. If it is not the account you expect, choose **Sign out** in the same menu.
3. Sign in the way you used before, with the same address.

### The project is in a folder

Folders sit in the project list. Open a folder to see its projects. With 13 or more projects, a **Search projects...** row appears at the top of the list and finds projects inside folders too.

### The project was archived

Choose **Archive** at the bottom of the left panel; the number beside it counts the archived projects. Find the project and choose **Restore**: "Projects you archive land here. Restore them anytime."

### The project was deleted

A project can be deleted only from the archive, with **Delete Permanently**: "This cannot be undone. Its files, chats and checkpoints go with it." A deleted project cannot be brought back. Deleting an account deletes its projects too.

### The project was shared with you, and it is gone

Projects that other people share with you appear under **Shared with me** in the left panel. A project disappears from there when its owner stops sharing it or deletes it. Ask the owner.

### You left a team workspace, or a project moved

A team workspace's projects show only to its members. If you left the workspace, or an admin removed you, ask an admin to invite you again. The project's owner or a workspace admin can also move a project to another workspace with **Move to workspace**. Moved to a personal workspace, it becomes private: "Workspace members will lose access." See [Workspaces, members and roles](/docs/build/workspaces-members-and-roles).

### The list looks wrong after an update

Your browser keeps a copy of your projects. If that copy is stale, the list can be empty or old.

1. Open the menu under the workspace's name and choose **Help**, then **Clear Cache & Reload**. This clears the copy in your browser and loads your projects again from Playcode's servers.
2. If the list is still wrong, choose **Sign out** in the same menu and sign in again.

> [!WARNING]
> Changes you made while offline that have not reached Playcode yet are lost when you clear the cache.

If none of this finds the project, [get help from a person](/docs/help/get-help-from-a-person) and include the project's name or address and the email address you sign in with.
