# Bandwidth and limits

> What each plan includes for published projects - traffic, Cloud apps, branding and other limits - and what happens past each one.

Static sites are hosted on every plan, and their traffic is not charged. Cloud apps get a monthly traffic allowance on Pro and Max; past it, the app keeps serving and the extra traffic is paid in credits.

## Plans at a glance

| | Free | Pro | Max |
|---|---|---|---|
| Publish a static site | Yes, with a "Built with Playcode" banner | Yes, no banner | Yes, no banner |
| Choose the name in the Playcode address | No | Yes | Yes |
| Connect or buy a domain | No | Yes | Yes |
| Cloud apps per workspace | None | 3 | 10 |
| Cloud traffic included | None | 100 GB a month | 1,000 GB a month |

## Traffic

| Project | Included | Past the included traffic |
|---|---|---|
| Static site | Traffic is not charged, on any plan | Not charged |
| Cloud app | Pro: 100 GB a month. Max: 1,000 GB a month | The app keeps serving; each extra GB is charged in credits |

The Cloud allowance counts by calendar month, and it is one pool for the whole workspace. It counts the data that all its Cloud computers send out, development and production alike. **Settings**, **Computer** shows this month's traffic and the price per GB past the allowance; **Settings**, **Usage** shows what traffic cost.

## What a Cloud app uses credits for

| Use | When it counts | Where you see the price |
|---|---|---|
| Computer time | While the computer is awake | **Settings**, **Computer** |
| Disk | Every hour, for the GB the app stores | **Settings**, **Computer** |
| Traffic | Only past the included traffic | **Settings**, **Computer**, the **Network** line |

Cloud apps and AI draw on the same credits. A sleeping app uses credits for its disk only. When the workspace's balance reaches zero, Playcode emails the workspace owner "Your credits are used up - cloud computers stop in 72 hours" and stops the Cloud computers 72 hours later. They start again once the balance is above zero. A static site never stops because of credits. See [Credits and balance](/docs/account-and-billing/credits-and-balance).

## Other limits

| Limit | Value |
|---|---|
| Cloud apps per workspace | Pro 3, Max 10. Every Cloud project counts, published or not; archived ones do not. A person can raise it on request |
| Disk of a published Cloud app | Up to 200 GB |
| One file of a static site | Up to 100 MB; a larger file is left out of the published site |
| Names in a Playcode address | See [Your Playcode address](/docs/publish/your-playcode-address) |

When a workspace reaches its Cloud app limit, the app shows "Cloud app limit reached - upgrade to Max for 10 apps". See [Plans](/docs/account-and-billing/plans) and [Get help from a person](/docs/help/get-help-from-a-person).
