Claude Opus 5.5 shows its thinking as it works

On a hard request, Claude Opus 5.5, the Standard model, can think for several minutes before it writes anything. Until now the chat showed nothing in that time, and after four minutes it said the chat had stalled.

• Now: a Thinking line appears within seconds. Open it to read a summary of what the agent is working through, while it works.
• No false stall notice: while the agent writes - a long answer, a big file, a long think - the chat no longer says it stalled.
