The code did not arrive
#See A sign-in code did not arrive.
"The code is expired or invalid. Try again."
#The code is older than 10 minutes, a newer code replaced it, or 5 wrong tries ended it. Choose Send a new code and type the code from the latest email. "Each code expires after 10 minutes."
"Too many attempts. Please wait a moment and try again."
#Playcode accepts 5 code requests and 10 code checks in 5 minutes from one network. Wait 5 minutes, then try once more.
"Human verification couldn't load" or "Verification failed. Please try again."
#A quick check that you are a person runs before Playcode emails a code. Google, GitHub and Microsoft sign-ins skip it. The app says: "Disable ad blockers or VPN, then reload the page." Do that, or try another browser.
"Your browser refused the sign-in cookie. Allow cookies for this site and try again."
#Playcode keeps you signed in with a cookie. Allow cookies for playcode.io in your browser's settings, then sign in again.
"Could not reach the server. Check your connection and try again."
#The request did not reach Playcode. Check your connection. A browser extension that blocks requests can cause this too: turn it off for playcode.io.
Google: "Your browser blocked Google's sign-in window."
#Allow pop-ups for playcode.io and choose Continue with Google again, or continue with your email.
Google: "Google could not confirm this email address for us."
#Google did not confirm the address to Playcode. Sign in with the code instead: type the same address and choose Email me a code. If Google does not finish ("Google did not finish the sign-in.") or does not load on your device, use the code too: "your Google address opens the same account."
GitHub or Microsoft: "could not confirm this email address for us"
#Playcode signs you in to an existing account only with an address the provider has confirmed. For GitHub, that is your primary email, marked verified on GitHub. For Microsoft, a personal account's address counts; a work or school account's address counts only when Microsoft marks it as confirmed. Otherwise, sign in with the code we email you, or with Google, instead.
"OAuth state does not match this browser - start the sign-in again"
#A GitHub or Microsoft sign-in started in another browser or tab, or the browser lost its cookie on the way. Go back to Playcode and start the sign-in again in one browser.
"Signing in took too long" or "your workspace took too long to load"
#Try again, or continue with your email. If the app says "You're signed in, but your workspace took too long to load", reload the page.
#The app says: "Your session has ended. Sign in again to continue." The session was signed out, for example with Sign out everywhere else on another device, or the device was not used for a year. Sign in again; the app takes you back to where you were.
"This account is no longer active."
#Playcode has turned off this account. Get help from a person and say which email address you use.
You signed in, but your projects are not there
#You may be in another account or another workspace. See My projects are missing.
You deleted your account
#A deleted account cannot be restored. Signing in with the same address creates a new, empty account.
You can no longer open your email inbox
#If your account is linked to Google, GitHub or Microsoft, sign in with it. Then change the address in Settings, under You, Profile: choose Change Email, and Playcode sends a code to the new address. Do it within 15 minutes of signing in: after that, Playcode first sends a "Confirm it's you" code to the current address. If no other sign-in works, get help from a person.
