Run Python code online: this online Python compiler runs Python 3.13 in your browser, with nothing to install. Press Run and read the output, or the traceback if something breaks. When it breaks, the traceback shows where
Whatever your program prints appears in the console, in order. An error prints its full traceback, so you can follow it back to the line that failed.

Stuck? The AI has already seen the error
Ask the editor’s AI chat. It reads the recent errors in your console, then explains the traceback or fixes the code. It uses credits; eligible new accounts get trial credits.

Questions people ask
Is this Python online compiler free?
Yes. You can run Python online for free, with no account. Saving and sharing need a free account, which keeps up to three saved projects, public or private; the AI chat uses credits.
Where can I run Python code online?
In your browser: open the compiler, paste or write your code and press Run. It works as a free Python code runner on a computer or a phone, with numpy, pandas and matplotlib ready to import.
Which Python version does it run?
Python 3.13 (3.13.2), on Pyodide, in your browser.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Open it in a browser on a computer or a phone and press Run.
Can I use numpy, pandas and other modules?
Yes. Import numpy, pandas, matplotlib, scipy, scikit-learn or requests and it loads by itself; the standard library is there too. Other packages install from PyPI in the Packages panel; one that needs a native build may not install.
Can my program read input with input()?
Not yet. This compiler can’t pass typed text to input(). Put the values in your code instead, for example name = "Priya".
Can it draw charts?
Yes. A matplotlib chart appears as a picture in the Output panel. Install Plotly and its charts stay interactive.
Can I run Flask, Django or pygame?
No. The compiler runs in your browser, with no server and no game window. Plain Python, data libraries and charts work.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes, in your phone’s browser. Longer code is easier on a bigger screen.
Is my code private?
Your code runs in your browser. Projects you save are stored on Playcode. A project you create while signed in starts private on every plan; one you started before signing in stays public until you turn its link off.
Is this compiler part of Playcode?
Yes. This compiler is part of Playcode Classic, Playcode’s free code tools. Playcode began in 2016 as a browser coding environment. Today it is an AI platform for building and running websites and apps.
