Do it yourself
#- Open Settings and choose Connections under the workspace.
- Under Add a connection, choose Connect Search Console or Connect Notion.
- Sign in at Google or Notion and allow access.
- On Google's screen, select the Search Console permission. Google lets you continue without it, and then Playcode saves nothing.
- On Notion's screen, share the pages the agent may read.
- Back in Playcode, the account shows Connected. Keep Agent may use it on.
- In a project's chat, ask the agent, for example: "Which searches bring people to my site? Use Search Console." or "Read my Notion page Shop plan and build the home page from it."
If it doesn't work
#"Google didn't grant Search Console access, so nothing was saved."
#Google's screen was left without the Search Console permission. Choose Connect Search Console again and select it.
"The connection didn't complete. Nothing changed - you can try again."
#Start again from Add a connection.
The account shows Revoked
#The access ended at Google or Notion, or someone revoked it in Playcode: the row says to reconnect to use it again. Choose Reconnect.
The agent says it has no access
#Check that the account shows Connected and that Agent may use it is on. Then ask again.
"Couldn't load connections", or the buttons are greyed out
#Only the workspace's owner and its Admins can see and change its connections. Ask one of them.
Limits
#- Search Console is read-only: the agent reads the data and cannot change anything in Search Console. Better pages can bring more visitors, but no ranking is guaranteed.
- In Notion, the agent reads only the pages you shared. It reads them when you ask; nothing syncs by itself.
- The agent uses a connection only in a chat, when you ask.
- Your app's own code cannot call a connected account yet. The Apps may use it switch is for that.
- The page also shows Connect Gmail. Gmail is not available yet.
- Revoke (the cross beside the account) deletes Playcode's stored access. Nothing is deleted at Google or Notion, and you can connect again at any time.
