Report a site or project on Playcode that breaks the Terms of Service: phishing, scams, malware, spam, harassment, or someone else's work used without permission. Send the site's address and what is wrong to the Playcode team, through the support page or by email.

A site published on the Free plan shows a banner with Report this site. That link opens this page.

Do it yourself

#
  1. Copy the address of the site or project. A static site ends in playcode.site, a Cloud app in playcode.run, and a site can also use its own domain.
  2. Open playcode.io/help. You do not need a Playcode account.
  3. Fill in the form: put the address in Project, write "Report abuse" under What were you trying to do?, and describe what the site does under What happened?.
  4. Choose Send to support, then send the message in the chat that opens. If the chat does not open, email the same text to support@playcode.io.

In the app, the menu under your workspace's name has Help, then Report Abuse. It opens the chat with a sentence ready to finish.

Include:

  • The full address of the site or project.
  • What is wrong, and where on the site you saw it.
  • Screenshots or links that show it, and when you saw it.

For a copyright complaint, follow section 11 of the Terms of Service: email ruslan@playcode.io with the copyrighted work, the content that infringes it, your contact information, a statement of good-faith belief, and a statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate.

A security problem in Playcode itself

#

Report a vulnerability privately to security@playcode.io, as section 24 of the Terms of Service asks. Playcode runs no bug bounty.

If it doesn't work

#

"The chat did not open"

#

A browser extension that blocks ads can block the chat. Email your report to support@playcode.io instead.

You closed the site before you copied its address

#

Report this site opens this page in a new tab, so the site stays open in the tab you came from. Copy the address there.

Limits

#
  • Playcode decides what to do under its Terms. A violation can lead to the suspension or termination of the account that published the content.
  • When Playcode suspends an account, its static sites stop serving.
  • No response time is promised for a report.
