Bandwidth and limits

Static sites are hosted on every plan, and their traffic is not charged. Cloud apps get a monthly traffic allowance on Pro and Max; past it, the app keeps serving and the extra traffic is paid in credits.

Traffic

#
Project Included Past the included traffic
Static site Traffic is not charged, on any plan Not charged
Cloud app Pro: 100 GB a month. Max: 1,000 GB a month The app keeps serving; each extra GB is charged in credits

The Cloud allowance counts by calendar month, and it is one pool for the whole workspace. It counts the data that all its Cloud computers send out, development and production alike. Settings, Computer shows this month's traffic and the price per GB past the allowance; Settings, Usage shows what traffic cost.

What a Cloud app uses credits for

#
Use When it counts Where you see the price
Computer time While the computer is awake Settings, Computer
Disk Every hour, for the GB the app stores Settings, Computer
Traffic Only past the included traffic Settings, Computer, the Network line

Cloud apps and AI draw on the same credits. A sleeping app uses credits for its disk only. When the workspace's balance reaches zero, Playcode emails the workspace owner "Your credits are used up - cloud computers stop in 72 hours" and stops the Cloud computers 72 hours later. They start again once the balance is above zero. A static site never stops because of credits. See Credits and balance.

Other limits

#
Limit Value
Cloud apps per workspace Pro 3, Max 10. Every Cloud project counts, published or not; archived ones do not. A person can raise it on request

When a workspace reaches its Cloud app limit, the app shows "Cloud app limit reached - upgrade to Max for 10 apps". See Plans and Get help from a person.
