AI Credits Balance

AI Credits let you use AI features in PlayCode. Credits are included with your subscription and can be topped up anytime.

What Are AI Credits?

AI Credits are a pay-as-you-go system for AI features in PlayCode (coming soon). When you use AI features like code generation, chat assistant, or other AI tools, the cost is deducted from your balance.

Who Can Use AI Credits?

AI Credits require an active Pro subscription.

• Pro Subscribers: Can add balance and use AI features
• Free Users: Must upgrade to Pro first to access AI features

How to Get Credits

Subscription Credit Tiers

Pro subscribers receive AI credits based on their subscription tier:

• $25/month: 100 credits/month
• $50/month: 200 credits/month
• $100/month: 400 credits/month
• $200/month: 800 credits/month

Credit Rollover: Unused credits roll over to the next month. For monthly plans, rollover credits expire after 1 additional month. For annual plans, rollover credits last until your subscription renews.

Manual Top-Up

Add credits anytime from your account settings. Top-ups range from $15 to $1,000. If you have a saved payment method, top-ups are instant with no redirect. Top-up credits are valid for 12 months.

Auto-Recharge

Set a threshold and your balance will automatically top up when it falls below your chosen amount. Perfect for heavy AI users.

Pricing & Costs

AI features use a pay-per-use model:

• Different AI models have different costs
• You only pay for what you use
• Your balance never expires
• Transparent pricing (you'll see costs before using features)

Important Notes

Credit Expiry Policy

Credits have different expiry rules based on their source:

• Subscription credits: Roll over for 1 month (monthly plans) or until subscription ends (annual plans)
• Top-up credits: Valid for 12 months from purchase (each new purchase extends the expiry)

Credits are used in order: rollover credits first, then current subscription credits, then top-up credits.

Credits on Cancellation

If you cancel your subscription, your remaining credits stay in your account until they expire. You paid for them, so you keep them.

Secure Payments

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We never store your payment details - they're managed by Stripe's PCI-compliant infrastructure.

Managing Your Balance

View and manage your balance in Account Settings:

1. Click your profile picture in the top right
2. Select Account Settings
3. Go to Billing tab
4. Find the "AI Credits Balance" section

From there you can:

• View your current balance
• Add credits manually
• Enable/disable auto-recharge
• View usage history (coming soon)
• Manage saved payment methods
