Playcode Cloud runs the application behind your website: its backend, database, files and background work. Build and preview changes in Playcode, then publish when you are ready.

Your Cloud project’s development environment and AI agent run on our servers. Open Playcode in your browser to direct the work and review the result.
Once a task has started, you don’t need to keep your laptop running for the agent to work. Open Playcode in your phone’s browser, sign in to the same account and pick up the same project and conversation.
Invite collaborators to the same project and choose what they can access. Your team works with the shared project and conversation, with updates in real time.

Bring your domain, or buy one in Playcode. For domains bought here, Playcode handles the connection to your project.
Already own the name? Keep it with your provider and follow the connection steps. Where supported, you can also let Playcode manage its settings while it stays registered with your current provider.
Domain purchases and renewals are charged separately to your saved card. Check the quoted price before you confirm. Domain connection requires a paid plan.
Build around your privacy requirements.
Your Cloud project runs in its own isolated environment. Work with the agent to build the access controls, retention rules and deletion flows your app needs.
Have a required hosting location or specific privacy conditions? Talk to the people running your cloud. We’ll review the requirements with you and explain what we can support.
Playcode also processes platform data, including AI conversations and operational logs. Review how the platform and connected services handle data alongside your app’s own setup.
A way back for your code, files and database.
If a change goes wrong, restore your Cloud project to a saved point. Code, files and the database return together.
Changes made after that point are not part of the restored version. Your code history is also kept on separate infrastructure, with encrypted off-site backups of that history.
What happens after I publish?
Your app runs on Playcode Cloud. You can continue building and publish later changes from the same project.
What if the balance runs low?
Check the notice in Billing for the affected workspace and any service deadline. Building and running use the balance differently; see the pricing explanation before relying on a production app.
Does sharing a project publish the app?
No. Inviting collaborators or changing project-link access is separate from publishing the running app. Review both settings for the audience you intend.
Do snapshots keep everything added afterward?
No. A snapshot restores the saved state, including its database. Review the consequences before restoring a project with newer customer activity.
Do I need to manage a server myself?
Playcode operates the runtime. Your product still needs a correct configuration, tested behavior and an appropriate plan for its workload.
Does the application server’s location determine where all my data stays?
No. AI processing, platform records, backups and connected services can use other locations. Discuss the full data flow with our team if your project has location requirements. The Privacy Policy lists current service providers and processing locations.
What if my project has GDPR requirements?
We can discuss the technical setup and data-processing terms your project needs. An isolated server does not establish compliance by itself. Your app’s behavior, platform processing, connected services and the responsibilities agreed between you and Playcode all matter.
