Playcode has three plans: Free, Pro and Max. A plan belongs to a workspace: it decides what the workspace can do, and it adds credits to the workspace every month. You can create an account without a credit card.

Max comes in 5 sizes. Pro and every Max size give 4 credits per dollar.
A yearly plan is charged once a year and costs less than twelve monthly payments: $29 less on Pro, and 10 times the monthly price on Max. It adds its credits every 30 days, not all at once.
A yearly Pro or Max plan, paid through Stripe, also includes the first year of one new domain priced up to $20 - a .com fits. It is one name per subscription (renewing the plan does not add another), and a switch from monthly to yearly qualifies. A transfer, a renewal, a purchase of more than one year or a name above $20 is charged as usual, and the name renews at its regular price on the workspace's card. See Buy a domain.

A plan goes to the workspace you are in when you buy it. The payment step names that workspace, for example "Your plan applies to the Acme workspace." See Workspaces, members and roles.
Upgrade in the menu under the workspace's name, or Settings, Billing & plans. Pick the plan, the credits per month and Monthly or Annual, choose Start building, and pay on Stripe's page. Stripe's page accepts a promotion code
