Should the website calculate an instant price or request a site review?
- Rules-based price for standardized work
- Pending estimate request with staff or site review
Choose: Use a pending request when measurements, access, soil, drainage, grade, material, permits, equipment, or crew capacity can change scope. Show a calculated price only for a verified standardized service whose rules and exclusions are complete.
Tradeoff: A pending request adds a review step but avoids false precision. Rules-based pricing is faster for repeatable work but requires maintained inputs, exclusions, taxes, change handling, and reconciliation with the operating system.
